South East England - Remote-first (approx. 4 days a week on the road)
A leading medical device manufacturer is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow their Safe Patient Handling portfolio across the South East. This role focuses on hoists, beds, hygiene equipment and related SPH solutions, working closely with NHS Trusts, loan stores, architects and dealer partners.
Manage and grow key NHS and dealer accounts across the region.
Build strong relationships with clinicians, procurement teams, moving & handling advisors and loan stores.
Drive sales across ceiling track hoists, mobile hoists, beds, hygiene equipment and slings.
Conduct product demos, technical assessments and group presentations.
Identify and convert new business opportunities.
Deliver customer and internal training on products and safe handling solutions.
Complete accurate pricing, surveying, prescription forms and activity reports.
Maintain high standards of professionalism and commercial practice.
Remote-based with occasional head office visits; van with tail lift provided for equipment.
Solid experience in safe patient handling or closely related medical equipment.
Strong understanding of NHS structures, pathways and decision-making.
Confident presenter with the ability to influence clinical teams.
Proactive, self-managing and comfortable being on the road most of the week.
Technically capable and able to understand equipment in detail.
Organised, accurate and commercially driven.
Full UK driving licence essential.
