- Become an advocate for MissionAssist and enable others to discover our services for mission workers.
- Raise awareness of MissionAssist, promoting our services, resources and volunteering roles.
- Maintain the charity’s brand, and manage our digital profile.
- Liaise with other organisations, as a representative of MissionAssist.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events.
- Lead the strategy and manage the budget for marketing and publicity - depending on skills and experience.
- Enthusiasm for the effectiveness of good communications and marketing.
- Evidence of an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, with good judgement, in a virtual organisation.
- Experience of managing and motivating others to achieve agreed goals.
- Professional experience in corporate communications/marketing – desirable.
- Flexible scope - responsibilities can be adjusted to match your experience and availability, and could be a role-share.
- Flexible hours - most work can be done at any time and conference calls are arranged at mutually convenient times.
