Placement Quantity Surveyor – Hybrid, Construction Finance
Job summary
A leading service provider is seeking a Placement Quantity Surveyor for a 12-month fixed-term position based in Belfast. This hybrid role involves supporting commercial management and financial processes for government contracts across the UK. The ideal candidate is currently studying building or construction at university. Experience in contract and financial management within the construction sector will be beneficial. The role offers hands-on experience and professional development opportunities.

- Must be undertaking a university-level course in Building, Construction, or a related area.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the commercial and finance functions of the commercial team.
- Support the implementation of the commercial and finance mobilisation workstream.
- Implement all Sodexo finance processes and policies.
- Ensure the implementation of all contract obligations.
- Assist with the design and implementation of a re‑procurement strategy for the Client's supply chain.
- Support the implementation and management of contract / financial management and administration processes.
- Design and implement internal (Sodexo) and Client financial reporting processes/products.
- Act as an ambassador of the Contract team, leading engagement with the Client's financial/commercial team and other stakeholders.
