Our client is a well-established mid tier firm recognised for delivering high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse range of clients.
- Oversee and manage tax compliance processes for a variety of clients.
- Prepare & review personal tax work, working papers, and reports for accuracy
- provide expert technical advice in areas such as reorganisations, property structuring, or shareholder exits
- Ensure all tax filings and submissions are accurate and completed on time.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.
- Assist in audits and liaise with tax authorities when required.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their specific needs.
- Manage workload and run weekly team updates
- Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
A successful Tax Manager should have:
- Professional qualification in accountancy or tax (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT).
- A minimum of 3years experience operating as an Assistant Manager or above
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing tax processes within the business services industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in tax software and relevant IT systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Capability to mentor and lead a team successfully.
