A specialist school in Maidstone is seeking a committed SEN Teacher to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The role involves delivering tailored lessons, assessing pupil progress, and fostering a nurturing environment. Candidates must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience with SEND. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact in a collaborative setting.
Location: Maidstone
Contract: Full-time or Part-time

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are currently recruiting a committed and nurturing SEN Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive specialist school in Maidstone.
As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping pupils achieve their potential – academically, socially, and emotionally. You’ll lead learning for students with a range of complex needs, including autism spectrum conditions, social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and moderate learning difficulties. You will deliver personalised lessons, oversee progress, and work closely with support staff and the wider SEN team.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment where every child is celebrated for who they are. The school prioritises independence, communication, and emotional well‑being, creating a nurturing, safe, and inclusive space where children can thrive. The curriculum is designed to be flexible, adaptive, and holistic – built around each learner’s needs.
This SEN Teacher role is a fantastic opportunity to make genuine, long‑lasting impact in a school that believes every pupil deserves to be valued, understood, and supported to succeed.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and all applicants must satisfy background safer recruitment checks.
