Job Title: QTS Secondary teacher
Location: Staffordshire - ST11
Pay rate: £110 to £160 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

As a Secondary Teacher, you will lead inspiring lessons, support academic progress, and help students build confidence and ambition. This is a rewarding role where your skills and creativity as a Secondary teacher will truly be valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-focused lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Support students to achieve academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Promote strong subject knowledge as a Secondary teacher, helping students understand core concepts.
  • Plan lessons that encourage participation, critical thinking, and teamwork.
  • Mark and assess students’ work, giving constructive feedback.
  • Maintain good classroom management, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Use your expertise as a Secondary teacher to support the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership.
Requirements
  • A secondary education background – QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) is essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and preferably relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and resilience to meet the needs of a busy secondary school.
  • Strong classroom organisation and planning ability.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for working with young people.
  • Updated CV and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
