Key Responsibilitiesof aClassroom Assistant:

• Provide in-class support to teachers and students across a range of subjects.
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
• Work one-to-one or with small groups to ensure students remain engaged and supported.
• Prepare learning materials and help adapt resources to suit varying abilities.
• Support students with additional needs, encouraging participation and independence.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is desirable.
• A proactive, supportive, and compassionate approach to working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in education and student development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting the needs of all students.
• Havean up-to-date CV(covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service(or be willing to apply for one)
