Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Start Date: Immediate

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and helping them build a brighter future? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Special Education Needs (SEN) TA to join a nurturing and inclusive school environment in Ringwood immediately.

About the Rol

As a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide personalised assistance to students with a range of needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life.
  • Deliver one-to-one interventions to reinforce learning.
  • Assist in the development of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and resilience.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children in SEN settings is desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students’ learning and well‑being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or support work are advantageous.
To work with GSL Education as a SEN TA, you should:
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.

Please be advised that this role requires strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
