Applications Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Pump Engineer required to join a leading global engineering manufacturer.

The successful Applications Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Pump Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, assisting with product selection, preparing quotations, and ensuring customers receive the best engineering solutions for their pump applications.

The Applications Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Pump Engineer will ideally have experience in engineering applications, technical support, or sales within pumps or rotating equipment, with CAD and ERP/CRM proficiency.

Pump Service Engineers looking to come off the tools into a technical role are encouraged to apply.

Applications Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Pump Engineer Role

• Analyse customer requirements to recommend tailored mechanical pump products & solutions.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and product recommendations for various pumps to customers and internal teams.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and ensure compliance with industry standards for pump and rotating equipment applications.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to enhance pump products and develop new solutions.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise on mechanical pumps during customer meetings and events.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

Applications Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Pump Engineer Requirements

• Experience as an Applications Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar within the pump or rotating equipment industry.
• Strong knowledge of fluid handling systems, including centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, fluid power, or similar rotating equipment. Full training provided.
• Proficiency in CAD software or similar engineering design software.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP or Salesforce is desirable.
• Technical mechanical engineering degree, HND, BEng or similar is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and sales support when required.
