Job summary

A reputable commercial vehicle workshop in Ashford is seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter for a permanent position with a salary between £60,000 to £70,000 per annum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle mechanics, possess their own tools, and be qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ level 3. The role includes responsibilities such as repairing vehicles, assisting in fault diagnosis, and ensuring compliance with warranty procedures. Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter.

  • Carry out repairs according to manufacturers' procedures safely.
  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
  • Comply with warranty procedures during repairs.
  • Report all vehicle defects to workshop controller.
