A prominent arts organization in Manchester is seeking a Producer to lead project management from inception to presentation. The role involves budget management, collaboration with diverse artists, and nurturing creative relationships. Ideal candidates should have strong project management skills, financial literacy, and a commitment to supporting artistic development. Training will be provided to enhance skills in arts management.

The Producing Department delivers work across all our programmes at Factory International – both the year-round programme at Aviva Studios and Manchester International Festival that takes place every two years at various venues in Greater Manchester. We are a department of Producers, Event Managers, Producing Administrators as well as the Artist Liaison and Scheduling teams. We come from a wide range of backgrounds and we think we get to produce some of the most exciting projects made today – working actively with artists and communities across Greater Manchester on ambitious and ground-breaking new work.
The Producer is a central role in the team and the organisation, acting as the lead line producer for commissions and events for MIF/ Factory International from their initial development through to their realisation and presentation to the public. You could be delivering a flagship project in and around Aviva Studios, in the digital realm, across the city or internationally.
If you have experience of project management or producing, if you love art and culture and if you like the kind of work we have produced, then we want to hear from you! You will be supported by an experienced Executive Producer to deliver the work and we are committed to putting training plans in place to support people to work in art forms that may be new to them.
