A leading global manufacturing business in Hull is seeking an experienced financial accountant for an interim assignment of 3-6 months. The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with strong financial and statutory reporting skills. This role offers the chance to support critical month-end processes and group reporting in a supportive, hybrid work environment.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant with strong financial reporting experience.
- Available at short notice for interim assignment.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with auditors.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Assist with group reporting and consolidation.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced financial accountant to join a leading global manufacturing business based in Hull on an interim basis. This 3-6 month assignment offers the chance to work within a highly respected finance team during a period of transition and business-critical reporting. The role is ideal for a qualified accountant with strong technical skills and a hands-on approach, who is confident working in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors

- Assisting with group reporting and consolidation
- Supporting ad-hoc financial projects as required
- Be a fully qualified accountant ACA/ACCA
- Have strong experience in financial and statutory reporting
- Be available at short notice or on a quick turnaround
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills
