Apprentice Software Tester – apprenticeship, hybrid work policy (three days in office, two days remote), competitive salary, on‑site in Newcastle, Tyne & Wear, apprenticeship start date 14.12.2025.

• Assist in the design and execution of test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web applications.
• Document and report bugs and issues clearly and accurately.
• Work closely with developers to understand features and resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Learn how to use testing tools and methodologies.
• Support the QA team in regression, integration, and system testing.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.

• A passion for technology and software development.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with any programming language (ideally C#).
• Exposure to testing tools or platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, Playwright, Swagger, Postman, MS SQL Server).
• Completed or enrolled in a relevant apprenticeship or training program.

• On‑the‑job training with experienced QA professionals.
