Job summary
A leading contractor in the UK is seeking experienced Electrical Testers for a data centre project in Harlow starting in January. The role involves carrying out electrical testing, fault-finding, and ensuring compliance with design standards. Candidates must hold relevant qualifications and be flexible for night and day shifts. This long-term opportunity offers competitive daily rates of £270-£280, with work available from Monday to Friday, including weekends.
Qualifications
- Must hold an ECS Gold Card.
- 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing qualification required.
- Flexible to work nights and varying hours.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical testing and commissioning in the data centre.
- Inspect, fault-find, and verify installation work.
- Complete and record test results and documentation.

Education
We are recruiting experienced Electrical Testers for a large data centre project starting in January in Harlow.
You will be working for a trusted, specialist M&E contractor, delivering commercial projects including data centres, offices, and other industrial developments.
- Carrying out electrical testing and commissioning of circuits and systems in the data centre
- Inspecting, fault-finding, and verifying installation work against design and standards
- Completing and recording test results, certificates, and handover documentation
- ECS Gold Card
- 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing qualification
- Previous experience on data centre or commercial / industrial projects
- Basic DBS check (can be arranged if not currently held)
- Must be flexible to work nights and any hours
