Job summary

A leading electrical compliance company in the UK is seeking an experienced professional for portable appliance testing on large commercial sites primarily in the Swansea to Newport area. Ideal candidates will possess the C&G 2377 PAT certification and deliver excellent customer service on-site. The position offers a competitive salary starting at £26k with a realistic OTE of £38-40k, van, travel pay, and generous holiday entitlements.

Job description

My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, they cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. They pride themselves on their engineers' skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

Role

• Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
• Going to 1 or 2 sites per day - extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day
• Covering south Wales with most of the work being Swansea to Newport

Salary and Benefits

• 26k basic salary - realistic OTE of 38-40k OTE
• Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day - 20p, 30p or 40p per test after daily targets are hit

Skills / Experience

• Living ideally anywhere from Swansea to Newport area
• C&G 2377 PAT course needed
• Experience doing portable appliance testing
• Full UK driving licence
• Great customer service skills for when you are on site
