We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Full Stack Developer / Software Developer with strong PHP and Ruby experience to help design, develop and deliver world‑class digital systems. As a Full Stack Developer / Software Developer you will work on enhancing web‑based applications that support sporting facilities and improve digital engagement for users around the world.
The Full Stack Developer / Software Developer will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP (CodeIgniter) and Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
- Enhance and support internal tools and consumer‑facing platforms
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and partners to deliver innovative, reliable solutions
- Apply best practices for development, testing, and deployment
- Optimise performance across applications to improve scalability and user experience
- Implement AI tools and contribute to integrating AI‑driven features across systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes and code quality
- Proven experience working in full stack or software development roles
- Strong skills in PHP (CodeIgniter) and Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
- Solid understanding of the Hotwire suite (Turbo, Turbo Native, Stimulus JS)
- Experience with AWS, Docker or similar technologies
- Clean, maintainable coding style with good documentation habits
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Interest in sport and emerging AI applications
