Job summary
A reputable company in drainage and water management is seeking a Branch / Yard Assistant in Skipton. The role involves processing customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles with a forklift, and providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills, literacy, numeracy, and an understanding of health and safety. Additionally, warehouse experience and a forklift license are desirable. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors in a small team environment.

We are actively looking to appoint a Branch / Yard Assistant to join our small friendly team in Skipton. If you are a flexible individual who enjoys a small team environment, likes being outdoors and can provide excellent customer service, this may be the perfect fit for you!
This role involves :
- Processing and picking customer orders accurately
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
- Providing customers with product and service information, including serving on the trade counter when required
- Keeping a safe, organised and professional looking yard
Job Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
- Warehouse / yard experience
- A good knowledge of computers
- Forklift truck licence
