About the role

As our Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in guiding the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will operate forklifts and other machinery, manage stock levels, and prepare orders for delivery.

Your efforts will help ensure that our supply chain runs smoothly, supporting our commitment to timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. This role requires adherence to safety regulations and company policies, contributing to a safe and productive workplace.

Role responsibilities
  • Picking, packing and dispatching orders
  • Receipt of goods inwards & processing of paperwork
  • Stock control and stock taking
  • Processing of returned goods
  • Safe and effective use of a forklift to load and unload trucks and pallet racking
  • Sound understanding of OHS and promote safe work practices
  • Provision of good internal & external customer service
  • Responsible for guiding a small warehouse team and liaising with sales team on a regular basis
  • General housekeeping duties
About you
  • Previous experience in a team leader role preferably within a warehouse, retail or similar environment
  • Previous warehouse operations, inventory experience (essential)
  • Current driver's license, forklift license (LF/LO) (essential)
  • Good computer and data entry knowledge
  • Excellent numeracy skills for accurate inventory management.
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Fully capable to perform repetitive activities such as bending, lifting, walking, sitting and turning, safely.
  • Good time management, presentation and interpersonal skills.
