We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP High Down, a category C adult male prison.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Stores Operative with any combination of:

• Fork Lift Truck Certificate
• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
• Full driving license preferably with D1
• HGV Licence
• Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills

Future Plans
GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that FM services will, in future, be delivered by the private sector. Following a successful procurement process, GFSL’s services will transfer to a private sector provider no sooner than August 2027.
