You will design and develop electrical systems, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical design, good communication skills, and relevant qualifications. Experience in the food processing sector is desirable. - Design and develop electrical systems, components and control panels.
- Commission, test and fault-find inverters, PLCs and other control systems.

A long-established and reputable supplier of industrial food-processing machinery is seeking a skilled Process Electrical Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. Known for delivering high-quality equipment worldwide and working alongside major global industry partners, this organisation prides itself on technical excellence, reliability and ongoing innovation within the food equipment sector.
- Design and develop electrical systems, components and control panels
- Commission, test and fault‑find inverters, PLCs and other control systems
- Work both in a workshop environment and at customer sites when required
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve electrical issues efficiently
- Utilise programmable logic controllers to support automation improvements
- Collaborate with mechanical and project engineers to enhance system performance
- Create technical documents, reports and user manuals
- Stay informed about new electrical technologies and industry advancements
- ✔ Relevant qualifications (18th Edition preferred)
- ✔ Strong background in electrical design and system development
- ✔ Confident understanding of inverters, PLCs and automation control
- ✔ Ability to work on‑site and in‑house depending on project demands
- ✔ Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting capabilities
- ✔ Clear written and verbal communication skills
- ⭐ Experience in dairy/food machinery or automation is desirable
