Job summary
A financial services firm based in London is seeking a Tax Associate to join their International Tax Department. In this new role, you will collaborate with a team on tax matters, including preparing tax provisions, ETR calculations, and assisting with various projects. Successful candidates will have good communication skills, a willingness to develop technical expertise, and may have experience in tools such as Alteryx and Power BI. The role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and expanding environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with financial services sector considered an asset.
- Develop technical skills and keen to develop further.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end tax provisions.
- Preparation of ETR calculations and reporting packages.
- Reviewing tax computations and returns prepared by external advisors.
- Assisting on new business initiatives and projects.
