Job summary
A growing private equity-backed service business in the UK is seeking an experienced Finance Manager. The role involves taking full ownership of the month-end close process, managing financial reporting, and developing a competent finance team. Ideal candidates are fully qualified accountants with strong technical knowledge and experience in SOX compliance. This is a vital position that offers an opportunity to influence the financial direction of the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in month-end reporting and management accounts.
- Strong ability to manage and lead a finance team effectively onsite.
- Experience working under SOX compliance or within a strong control environment.
Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the month-end close process, including preparation and review of detailed management accounts.
- Ensure all reconciliations, journals, and adjustments are completed accurately and on time.
- Deliver comprehensive month‑end reporting packs with variance analysis for stakeholders.
