A technology organization in Cambridge is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations. The role requires managing financial functions, preparing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures. Ideal candidates will have experience in a tech environment and effective communication skills. Offering £60,000 plus benefits with potential for a 4-day week.

- Manage day-to-day finance functions.
- Prepare accounts to trial balance.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls.
Connaissances
It's an exciting time to join this Hi Tech organisation as they move from R&D to product development. They have some ground breaking technology and strong financial backing. To support the organisation through this they need to recruit a Finance Manager to support the FD by managing the day to day finance. This role is based near the Cambridge North train station and initially you will be required in the office. It is possible that the role could be offered on a 4 day week basis.
Cambridge based technology business with strong financial backing.
- Management of the day to day finance functions
- Preparation of the accounts to trial balance and assisting with statutory accounts, including month end journals and reconciliations.
- Ensuring strong financial controls and procedures are in place and adhered to.
- Management of the ledgers and expenses
- Support cash-flow forecasting
- R&D Tax credits returns and grant reporting
- Budget analysis
- Provide payroll information to external supplier
- Preparation for annual audit
Ideally you will have had experience of working in a similar technology environment. You will enjoy working in a small team and be confident in communicating with non-finance colleagues.
£60,000 plus benefits
