Part-Time Transactional Finance Manager
Job summary
A well-established organisation in the not-for-profit sector is seeking a part-time Transactional Finance Manager to oversee crucial financial processes. Robertson Bell are pleased to be working with a well-established organisation in the not-for-profit sector to recruit a Transactional Finance Manager on a permanent, part-time basis (21 hours a week). This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes, support a capable team member, and help ensure the smooth running of the organisation’s payments and credit control.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee weekly payment runs and ensure all invoices are correctly checked and approved.
- Manage both debtors and creditors, keeping a close eye on credit control to ensure debts are chased promptly.
- Review and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy across all transactions.
- Take responsibility for fixed asset purchases, maintaining the asset register and posting monthly depreciation.
- Support and oversee the work of the Finance Officer, offering guidance where needed.
- Review month-end journals prepared and ensure deadlines are met.
- Work with colleagues to improve systems and processes, using your knowledge to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions from start to finish.

- Have experience with fixed assets and month-end processes (desirable).
- Possess good IT skills, including competent Excel knowledge.
- Be diligent, detail-focused, and able to work methodically.
