Job summary
A financial recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Finance Controller in Lytham Moss. You will oversee invoice processing, manage audits, and prepare VAT analyses while leading a team. Ideal candidates are ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with strong analytical skills. This role offers a salary of £50,000 – £55,000 plus benefits including hybrid working and annual holiday days.

Responsibilities
- Review monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
- Line management responsibility for team members, including coaching.
- Perform full reconciliation of financial records.
- Undertake audits of business processes and lead preparation of audit packs.
- Preparation of analysis of VAT returns and other HMRC submissions.

- The import of financial records and performing full reconciliation
- The completeness of monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Undertaking audits of business processes and lead preparation of audit packs at year end
- Preparation of analysis of VAT returns and other HMRC submissions
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified or equivalent with at least 2-year post qualification experience
- TAX/audit experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Driven, ambitious and keen to develop self and suggest improvements
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Great stakeholder management, ability to communicate with people on all levels
