Location: These roles could be based in our Birmingham offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role We are currently recruiting for a Business Finance Analysts to join our Finance Operations team to assist in the provision of professional accountancy and/or finance analysis service by executing specific and regular finance processes to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory, reputational, and commercial requirements.

You Will Be Repsonsible For

• Supporting the on-going delivery of robust, effective and efficient operational finance processes and controls.
• Ensure compliance with relevant procedures and processes and maintain evidence/audit trail as required.
• Complete specific standard Accountancy and / or analytical functions (including producing financial reports - performance, TBs, controls and OSP oversight, providing analysis of data, statutory reporting, etc)
• Undertake analysis of a range of business data and reports to assist manager in assessing commercial viability and tax efficiency of proposed business strategies.

• Experience of working in an Accounting team in financial services with a good level of accounting knowledge
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive and Organised, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Qualified / Part Qualified Accountancy qualification would be advantageous
