Finance Assistant
Job summary
An educational institution in Aberdeen City is seeking a Financial Support Assistant to manage financial records, prepare bank reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a Higher Diploma in Accounting and Finance, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a school environment. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential, as well as advanced skills in MS Excel and accounting software. The position offers a competitive remuneration package.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Knowledge of HKICPA regulatory reporting requirements is a plus.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bank reconciliations and update the cash book regularly.
- Maintain proper records and handle cash transactions for school events.
- Assist with journal entry input for monthly financial reporting.
- Prepare Balance Sheet item analysis reports.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the fixed assets register.
- Coordinate with other departments for procurement enquiries.
- Perform ad-hoc duties and administrative support as assigned.
