The role reports into a Sector Procurement Business Partner and forms an integral part of the overall Sopra Steria Procurement Team. The role will provide support to the Sector and Joint Venture (JV) Procurement Business Partner function.
The role will work alongside the Procurement Business Partner to support a client Sector/JV or specific client account, in managing third party supplier requirements, including but not limited to, new supplier assessment and onboarding, contractual negotiations and drafting, risk mitigation and delivery of cost savings against targets.
The role will also support implementation of wider Procurement initiatives such as supplier consolidation, ongoing new requests for products or services, etc. The role candidate is expected to have a working knowledge of procurement best practice, P2P/ERP systems, procurement tools and techniques including but not limited to data analysis and manipulation.
