Public Sector Procurement Lead (Hybrid)
Job summary
A consulting firm in the UK is seeking a Procurement Manager for a hybrid role. You will determine the commercial strategy for project requirements and draft the necessary plans, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations. Ideal candidates will have experience managing the entire procurement process and understanding public sector regulations. Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is preferred. This role offers an opportunity for an initial 3-month assignment with the potential for extension.
Qualifications
- Experience managing the end-to-end procurement process.
- Experience working within the public sector and understanding public sector regulations.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and build positive working relationships.
Responsibilities
- Determine appropriate commercial strategy for project requirements.
- Draft strategy plans and commercial management plans.
- Ensure all contracts adhere to procurement regulations and Government policy.
