As a Senior Critical Engineering Manager, you will provide senior leadership to the site engineering team. Your responsibilities include ensuring governance and processes are followed as directed by ISS and the client, with a focus on health, safety, and statutory requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining 100% compliance within your assigned site/area and ensuring 100% uptime of critical services, adhering to the OPTIMA governance manual.

1. Plan and schedule PPM activities to maintain engineering standards, maximizing operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and systems.
2. Ensure adherence to engineering standards in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) and ISS Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
3. Maintain onsite Quality Assurance procedures, keep accurate records, and update documentation as required.
4. Respond promptly to engineering-related reactive system issues and help desk requests.
5. Coordinate initial actions for all client requests.
6. Deliver all activities according to the OPTIMA CRITICAL governance framework.
7. Ensure all team members complete mandatory ISS/Barclays training on time.
8. Escalate, communicate, and document incidents within the contracted SLA, following applicable governance.

• Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• IOSH and/or NEBOSH certification.
• Minimum of 5 years managerial experience in a similar role.
• Experience as an authorized person in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Ability to manage complex operations within a P&L/set budget.
• Experience in a banking environment with multi-site critical engineering management.
• Effective communication skills both orally and via IT platforms.
• Knowledge of statutory legislation related to building services and maintenance.
