Lead Grid Connection Engineer — Energy Storage
Job summary
A leading energy company based in Sheffield is seeking a skilled professional to lead the optimization of grid connection schemes for large-scale energy storage power stations. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in grid connections, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power System, and strong project management and technical skills. This role involves liaising with various stakeholders to ensure effective commissioning and providing ongoing operational support.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in grid connection of large-scale energy storage or new energy power stations.
- Proficiency in technical specifications and approval processes.
- Strong on-site fault diagnosis capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and optimization of grid connection schemes.
- Liaise with power grid companies and lead technical meetings.
- Coordinate pre-grid connection technical preparations.
- Lead grid connection commissioning and acceptance.
- Provide technical operation and maintenance support.
