Job description
Vehicle Technician

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Level 3 Vehicle Technician who enjoys working with a broad mix of makes and models and wants to join a workshop where quality matters. If you’re searching for a role where your skills are recognised, your development is supported and your working week is stable and structured this could be for you.

About the Role

You’ll be preparing, servicing, repairing, prepping and maintaining vehicles that pass through a busy used‑car operation. Your days will be varied: one minute diagnosing electrical issues with diagnostic software the next road‑testing a vehicle after repairs or supporting another technician with a tricky job. MOT testing experience is a bonus but not essential. What is essential is confidence in your technical ability, steady workmanship and a professional approach to documentation, safety standards and workshop processes.

About the Client

Our client is a well established used‑car franchise business that has grown steadily over the past two decades. Known for its straightforward, customer‑friendly buying experience, the company has invested heavily in modern workshops and reconditioning facilities. They’re part of a wider European automotive group yet still operate with a family‑oriented culture, supportive teams, approachable management and a real focus on doing things properly rather than cutting corners. Career development, training and long‑term progression are all part of their offer.
