The role involves maintaining equipment performance and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 with electrical engineering background.
- Experienced in industrial plant maintenance activities.
- Skilled in reading circuitry schematics and risk assessments.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and maintenance for plant equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Manage contractors and communicate with the engineering team.

Key Accountabilities:
- A key member of the on-site Engineering Team providing practical and technical support.
- Perform necessary breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance activity.
- Effectively maintain process and auxiliary equipment, ensuring effective performance of plant and process equipment and uptime improvements.
- Performance of effective investigative, planning, maintenance techniques.
- With a strong health and safety ethic, and safe working practices.
- Risk assessing and risk assessments.
- Management of Contractors.
- Communicating activities with Management and Team Members.
- Permits to Work.
- Isolations.
The Candidate:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 with a background of working in Electrical Engineering.
- Experienced in Industrial Plant Activities/Operations.
- Experienced in Preventative maintenance techniques, planning, faults and breakdowns.
Experienced in:
- AC/DC Electrical Drives.
- DSEAR and PUWER.
- Electrical Power Distribution Networks.
- PLCs.
- Reading Circuitry Schematics.
- Risk Assessments, Permits to Work.
- Excellent communication skills to work both with and without supervision
