HMP Bronzefield are currently recruiting for an Electrician role.If you are a hands-on qualified electrician who enjoys being part of a team, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Awarded a bronze accreditation by Investors in People, HMP YOI Bronzefield focuses on providing needs-based services and programmes aimed at rehabilitating and maintaining the well-being of prisoners. HMP YOI Bronzefield is an all-female prison that can hold up to 542 women. Main Responsibilities:

Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance to electrical systems (18th Edition standards).

Perform scheduled maintenance and keep accurate records of all work.

Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours support.

Escort and assist specialist contractors as needed.

Ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies.

Person Specification:

Proven experience in electrical fault-finding, installation, and repairs.

Familiarity with commercial electrical systems (HVAC, BMS, etc.) is a plus.

Qualified to 18th Edition (BS 7671).

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Customer-focused and committed to continuous improvement.

Strong Health & Safety adherence.

Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.

Working Hours:

Participation in the on-call rota required.
