• Location: This role can be worked on a hybrid basis from our Glasgow or London studio or remote subject to location
• Salary: £45,000 to £50,000
• Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:30

The Senior Bid Writer for NEC Digital Studio will be responsible for crafting persuasive and well-structured propositions, proposals, and tender documents that align with the NEC Digital’ Ss strategic goals and resonate with potential clients.

This role will involve collaborating with cross‑functional teams, gathering information, and effectively communicating NEC Digital’s capabilities and offerings. The Senior Bid Writer will play a pivotal role in winning new business and driving growth.

• Content Creation: Develop high-quality written content for bids, proposals, and tender documents that effectively articulate the division's solutions, benefits, and value proposition.
• Message Alignment: Ensure bid content aligns with the NEC Digital Studio’s messaging, branding, and strategic objectives, while addressing the specific requirements of each opportunity.
• Content Customisation: Tailor content to meet the unique needs and preferences of each potential client or contract opportunity.
• Persuasive Communication: Write compelling narratives that highlight the NEC Digital Studio’s strengths, differentiators, and capabilities, while addressing client pain points.
• Content Editing: Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency, ensuring a polished and professional final product.

• Solution Development: Collaborate closely with the solutions lead to make sure our proposed solutions fit what the client needs. Use their technical knowledge to help create strong content that show why our solutions are the best choice.

• Content Research: Collaborate with the proposition lead to leverage the playbook's resources to provide updated best practices, answers, and relevant content, thereby enhancing bid submission quality and effectiveness.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Subject Matter Experts, to gather input and insights for responses and propositions.

• Deadline Management: Manage bid timelines, ensuring that all content is completed, reviewed, and submitted within specified deadlines.
• Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback and insights from tender outcomes to continuously improve content, processes, and win rates, feeding these into our Knowledge Management system.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and accuracy.

Knowledge Management: Ensuring all responses and feedback are recorded in line with our knowledge management processes and procedures.

• Proven experience as a proposition, proposal and bid writer, with a successful track record of crafting persuasive bid content, proposals, and tender documents.
• Experience writing and winning work via proposals, propositions and tenders in the public sector and for technology and digital transformation-focused bids.
• Proven experience as a proposition, proposal and bid reviewer, with a successful track record of contributing to the quality of bid content, proposals, and tender documents and helping others achieve the levels sought.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with exceptional attention to detail and grammar with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Familiarity with bid management processes and knowledge management systems.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment including Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Subject Matter Experts.
• Excellent project management and deadline management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Experience in collecting and implementing feedback to improve bid content and win rates.
