The successful candidate will assist with the day‑to‑day functioning of the first team analysis department, working alongside club analysts. The role focuses on data and analytical support.

• Managing, creating and developing Tableau dashboards
• Producing Brentford and opposition reports
• Conducting opposition analysis
• Conducting individual and training analysis
• Any other tasks as required

• Supporting Academy staff when necessary
• Ad‑hoc tasks as requested by the line manager

• Report concerns through the safeguarding team as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with club policies, health and safety, and data regulations
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical, and social requirements
• Adhere to the club’s safeguarding policy and code of conduct
• Promote equity, diversity and inclusion in line with the EDI strategy
• Maintain professional relationships internally and externally and represent Brentford FC appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality of club information
• Maintain a flexible approach to work at all times

• High proficiency using Tableau and Excel
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
• Creative with data visualisations
• Problem‑solving mindset; able to determine needed outputs
• Willingness to work on the job and be self‑motivated
• Hardworking, enthusiastic with excellent communication skills
• Effective at planning and implementing workloads
• Ability to work unsociable hours – evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• Experience in elite‑level performance analysis/football
• Strong understanding of football
• Experience with analysis software (e.g., Wyscout, Second Spectrum, Opta)

• Master’s in an analytical discipline
• Experience with coding languages (SQL, R, Python)
• Coaching experience or qualifications
• Experience using drones for data collection
