Job summary
A recruitment agency based in the UK is seeking multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Rugby. The role involves trunking between depots, conducting vehicle inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates will hold a valid Class 1 driving licence and be able to communicate effectively with logistics teams. New passes are welcome to apply. Flexible shift patterns with competitive pay rates available.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 driving licence (C+E).
- Experience with trunking and delivery routes.
- Able to adhere to traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Trunking between depots for timely delivery.
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Rugby area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Hours: Afternoon's across Monday to Sunday with various start times available, average shift length of 10 to 12 hours.
- Monday to Thursday - £17.11 (PAYE)
- Friday - £17.50 (PAYE)
- Saturday - £19.35 (PAYE)
- Sunday - £20.24 (PAYE)
- Monday to Thursday - £19.18
- Friday - £19.61
- Saturday - £21.69
- Sunday - £22.68
Location: Rugby, CV23
Job Type: Ongoing.
- Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels.
- Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
- Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- New passes welcome!
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
