A stable manufacturing company in Bradford is seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator. The role involves TIG welding, interpreting CAD drawings, and precision fabrication of components. Offering £14.50 - £16 per hour for a full-time position of 39 hours a week, with temp-to-perm options. Candidates should demonstrate strong welding skills and experience with press brakes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding, particularly with thin plate stainless steel.
• Ability to fabricate components from technical drawings.
• Experience operating a press brake.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator – Stainless Steel.
• Read and interpret engineering/CAD drawings to manufacture components accurately.
• Carry out TIG welding on stainless steel materials.
• Operate press brakes and other manual fabrication tools.
• Fabricate components with precision according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties as a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator – Stainless Steel
• Read and interpret engineering/CAD drawings to manufacture components accurately
• Carry out TIG welding on stainless steel materials
• Operate press brakes and other manual fabrication tools
• Fabricate components with precision according to specifications
• Grind, polish, and finish components as required
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy before dispatch
• Maintain machinery and report faults promptly
• Follow Health & Safety standards and ensure correct use of PPE

Beneficial Skills / Experience:

• Proven experience in TIG welding, particularly with thin plate stainless steel
• Ability to fabricate components from technical drawings
• Experience operating a press brake

Additional Details:

• Full-time, 39 hours per week
• £14.50 - £16p.h
• temp to perm but would look at perm straight away
