Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a PDI Technician in Plymouth to assist in processing new vehicles at the PDI center. The role involves thorough quality checks, visual inspections, and completing necessary paperwork. Candidates should ideally possess a full driving license and automotive experience, though full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough quality checks to brand standards.
- Conduct visual inspections of both exteriors and interiors.
- Report all defects to factory ordered options.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed before customer delivery.
- Carry out road testing as needed.
Skills
- Salary : Basic £26,000 DOE, OTE £32,000
- Working Hours : Monday to Friday, Saturdays on a 1 in 2 rota basis (AM)
An amazing opportunity has become available for our client in Plymouth to assist with the processing of new vehicles at their PDI centre. They are looking for recently qualified mechanics to join their expanding PDI Workshop team.
- Perform thorough quality checks to brand standards.
- Conduct visual inspections of both exteriors and interiors.
- Report all defects to factory ordered options.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed before customer delivery.
- Carry out road testing as needed (a full driving licence is essential).
- Experience in the motor trade, automotive, or car dealership is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
