The Role of the Nurse Associate is to assist and support the qualified health professionals in ensuring optimal care for the patients and the success of the trust. The delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate health care to the patients of the Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust is the most important objective for the organisation.

To work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver safe and effective inpatient care. To contribute to the provision and monitoring of high quality individualised nursing care in accordance with agreed policies and procedures. To work in collaborative and co-operative manner. To develop personally and professionally to undertake all aspects of the Band 4 role.
