Job summary
An educational organization in Milton Keynes seeks a Lead Exams Invigilator for a casual role. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and attention to detail. While experience in a school setting is advantageous, it is not strictly necessary. The job involves ensuring exams run smoothly according to regulations. Availability is required primarily between 8 am and 3 pm, Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- Experience in a school environment is advantageous but not required.
- Knowledge of the Instructions for the Conduct of Examinations (JCQ) would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth running of examinations according to regulations.
- Maintain a quiet and calm environment during exams.
- Assist students as necessary during exam procedures.
Skills
Lead Exams Invigilator - casual, flexible role at The Milton Keynes Academy. We are seeking well organised individuals to join us on a casual basis, to start as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to follow examination regulations, and the initiative to work independently. Experience in a school environment and some knowledge of the Instructions for the Conduct of Examinations (JCQ) would be advantageous but is not required.
There are no set contracted hours. Hours and days will vary according to the Academy’s exam timetable. Availability may be required between 8am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
MKA is based in central Milton Keynes. The Academy joined Creative Education Trust in September 2018, supporting rapid improvement for the students we teach.
