Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Accounts Assistant in Poole for an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will handle the sales ledger, assist with supplier reconciliations, and support ad hoc responsibilities. This role offers a salary of £14 – £17 per hour PAYE and will start office-based, transitioning to a hybrid model. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Qualifications
- Experience with sales ledger operations required.
- Must have experience with supplier and bank statement reconciliations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the sales ledger.
- Assist in reconciling supplier statements.
- Support additional ad hoc duties as required.
Skills
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with an industry leading SME, based in Poole, in their search for an Accounts Assistant on a contract basis. This role will work with the rest of the transactional team to support the day to day and also assist with the additional workload generated by a transformation project. This role will initially run for a 6 month period.

This role is paying GBP14 – GBP17p/h PAYE
Office based to begin and then hybrid moving forward.
