Overview

Management Accountant — East London — Salary range of £45,000 - £55,000. This is a hybrid working position based in East London, with one day working from home.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are recruiting for a hands-on Management Accountant to lead daily financial operations, drive month-end reporting, and improve systems and procedures for a growing business in the food sector. This role offers team leadership responsibility and the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting, reconciliations, and cash flow
• Lead month-end close and financial reporting
• Streamline processes, improve systems, and support audits
• Ensure compliance and regulatory reporting
• Supervise and develop a small finance team

Experience Required

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or finalist)
• Experience in management accounting, month-end, and system improvements
• Strong Excel and ERP knowledge
• FMCG Experience would be highly desirable
