A local accounting firm in Aberdeen City is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their friendly team on a part-time basis. Responsibilities include managing sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, and assisting with payroll. The ideal candidate has a strong background in ledger processing and accuracy in financial data handling. This permanent role offers a great opportunity for growth within a small business.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a small, friendly team where you will take ownership of the sales and purchase ledgers, whilst also providing general accounts support.

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:
You will have previous experience in an Assistant Accountant role or similar. Strong ledger processing background in an SME environment would be advantageous to this role. You will work with a high level of accuracy, be confident using IT systems and be a self-starter.
