Full-Time Long-Term Paid to Scale
Vision for Education is seeking a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Hull from January 2025. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a dedicated educator who can motivate and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will:
Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (specialism welcomed but not essential)
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and practical lessons
Contribute to the Science department and wider school community
Maintain high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement
This supportive and inclusive Hull secondary school places a strong emphasis on providing high-quality science education and ensuring students are engaged, curious, and confident learners. The school has a well-resourced Science department and a leadership team dedicated to staff development.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
A commitment to helping students achieve their best
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
