We’re recruiting for a specialist Employment Advisor role within a well-established charity that exclusively supports people with a learning disability and/or autism into employment.
The most recent person we placed came straight from recruitment, having spent years in the industry. She wanted a more meaningful role, real progression, and better balance.
12 months later, she’s been promoted into a senior role, now leads a team, and even featured in the charity’s latest promotional video, with customers talking about the difference she’s made (we’re happy to share this with you).
So you’ll be supported by someone who truly understands the jump from recruitment and will be a fantastic mentor.
- Managing a caseload of around 20–25 clients, supporting them into work
- One-to-one career guidance (CVs, job search, interview prep)
- Building relationships with employers to create job opportunities
- Community-based work, with one day per week in the Stockport office
- Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
- Flexible hours within an 8am–6pm window (e.g. 8–4 or 10–6)
- Community-based role (not home working), with all travel expenses paid
- Three roles available — two covering Manchester City postcodes and one covering Stockport
