The Opportunity
A leading global manufacturer is seeking experienced Senior Buyers to join their Strategic Sourcing Team on a temporary contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-performing procurement function, supporting sourcing strategies across a range of commodities in a complex, fast-paced environment.

The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Negotiating and managing supplier contracts
- Issuing RFPs and managing the tender process
- Identifying cost optimisation opportunities
- Supporting sourcing strategies across multiple commodities
- Managing supplier performance and applying contractual remedies
- Maintaining accurate sourcing data in ERP/MRP systems
- Supporting commercial claims and cost management
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum HNC in a business-related subject or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIPS, CPIM)
- At least 2 years' experience in a sourcing or procurement role (or 3 years with lesser qualifications)
- Strong IT skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
