Job summary
A childcare staffing agency is seeking playworkers to assist in breakfast and after-school care for children aged 3-11. The ideal candidates must have NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Childcare or equivalent, and at least one year of experience in a childcare setting. They should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team and engaging with parents.

We are actively hunting for a number of playworkers to work in our busy breakfast and after school care provision. The suitable applicant will need to have the specific skills and qualifications as listed below as well as to ensure they are delivering a high standard of care for children aged 3-11 years, working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team and in partnership with parents.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Early Years Childcare or play work
- Minimum of 1 year working in a childcare setting
- Experience working with children aged 3‑11 years
- Paediatric First Aid
- Knowledge of Child Protection procedures
