We are a leading and growing charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and adults with autism and other learning complexities with our head office based in Christchurch.
A day in the life of an Employee Relations Advisor
Playing a key role in creating a positive and supportive working environment across the organisation
Advising and guiding managers on a wide range of employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues, performance concerns in particular within adult services
Helping workplace culture that empowers our dedicated staff to provide outstanding care and support to the people who need us most.
Leading investigations and supporting hearings as needed
Analysing trends and support initiatives to improve staff wellbeing and retention
Contributing to policy reviews and continuous HR improvement initiatives
What we are looking for
Solid experience in an employee relations or HR advisory role
Sound knowledge of UK employment law and best practice
Compassionate, professional, and confident communication skills
Experience supporting managers through sensitive or complex HR matters
CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
Proficiency in Microsoft office and HR information systems
