The Role

Our division delivers world‑class care across integrated services, renal and transplant, stroke and neurosciences, acute and specialist medicine, and urgent and emergency care. With an annual income of over £400 million and a dedicated team of nearly 3,500 professionals, we combine scale with excellence to provide life‑changing care.

This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of our organisation. As Divisional Director, you will provide vision, strategic direction and executive leadership for the Medicine and Integrated Care Division – one of the largest and most complex portfolios in the Trust. Working as part of the divisional triumvirate and alongside executive colleagues, you will ensure the delivery of high‑quality, safe and effective clinical services, while driving innovation and transformation across the division.

  • Clinically qualified leader with significant experience of leading large, complex healthcare organisations through change.
  • A track record of delivering high‑quality clinical services and improving patient outcomes.
  • Strong financial and operational management skills.

You will be accountable for
  • Leading the division to meet all key performance requirements, including quality, safety, financial and operational targets.
